Which weapon do you guys think is the BEST weapon in game?
I believe an enchanted knuckleduster with more than 6 upgrades is the best, because a Dwarf Monk cannot knock it out of your hands, it's easier to find than a warhammer or glaive, you can hit an enemy twice, and you can hit 10-20 and since the knuckleduster is fast that's basically 30-40 hit.
+7 Vampiric longsword :) If I find a well of transmutation I use my scroll of upgrade on it (i always find one on the same level (ususally level 1) and I just stock my sweet Scroll of Weapon Upgrade for a much better +5-7 weapon in the future
Do you know what your average damage is with that ACPL? I believe that it would regularly do 17 damage each strike but I'm sure that having a strength 20 or so higher than needed to wield the weapon must help with the damage it deals.
My glave +7 magically disappeared because of one of the updates and now I'll have to beat the boss with unupgraded warhammer. This sucks, but I guess it will be challenging too, unless the next update strips me from my armor too.
had tried playing with the knuckle+11(i did not knew it could go -1 strength) it was a lucky one so it killed enimies easy,BUT a few runs later i tried the glaive and put it until lvl10/poisioning so if the enimie did not died for the hit the poison would do so i killed yog-dzewa with less than 8 hits(maybe 5)and abou the monks, they could not withstand my hits (i were a berzerker when enraged my damage was almost 60 without the poison)of course a knuckle is great as the excess stengh+speed will make for it being weak but it will only be better than a glaive if upgraded until +7-8 or more of curse
I've tried them all and I can say without a doubt that the Wand of Firebolt is hands down the most powerful weapon in the Game. The last game I played I was fortunate enough to get a +2 Ring of Power and Upgraded my Wand of Firebolt to +13. I was routinely doing over 200 hp of damage AND YOU HIT YOUR OPPONENT EVERY TIME. I've used a +13 Glaive or War Hammer and done over 100 hp of damage on occasion but you miss your opponent quite a lot and that means you are taking more damage.
Wand of Firebolt sure thing is the best weapon. Burns through the doors, monks, wizards, evil eyes, etc. And when it's combined with Regrowth wand you can create your little inferno! It was OP when recharge exploit existed.
Second place is enchanted boomerang. God, one time I had a Vampiric +8 Boomerang, and it was awesome. May be I'm wrong, but I like to keep the distance between myself and danger. That may affect my judgements.
With the new update you can just get a weighstone to make things as fast as knuckledusters. I got a seven hit combo with a +6 battleaxe. The age of the knuckleduster being the best for its speed is over.
Most of the time I won the game, it was with a mace...
- easy to find
- tier > than knuckeldester = Best upgrade...
- Balanced for speed = speed of the knuckeldester
- Enchantment are more efficient than for a glaive (cause you hit creatures faster) Ex : 2x effect of vampiric = 2xmore Hp, 2x effect blazing = more chanc to set ennemie's on fire...
But the weapon is not the most important stuff : A ring of evasion +8 and you kill the final boss with at most 1 potion of healing (During that game I had a blazing mace + 2 and a scale armor +3 (transformed in rogue armor))
Basically u can endgame with every weapon. Simply because u can just upgrade your weapons and use whatever armor u get. Killing mob faster is way better then wear a good armor. I did it with almost any weapon. i'm having hard time with short sword ahahhaah which is absolutely the worst. Obviously the seconds worst are the 12 weapons. Btw with new imrovement in speed and accuracy I'd love the hammer but i never find it in time to go on in the game.

Yes, there is. Upgrading the weapon increases the chance that it'll proc. There is a chance however, that the enchantment will be erased when you upgrade it. The probability of that is 1-(1/N). You should upgrade your weapon first, then enchant it.
