What are some key techniques or strategies used in the development of shadow fight games to ensure smooth gameplay and realistic combat mechanics?
Just Updated
I have learned something important from this, get plate armor and upgrade the shit out of it.
WMW-GHC-ZTT is the seed btw, it's a decent seed. It's shattered pixel dungeon btw.
This is me, as a lvl 4 Berserker on D-6. In the sewers, I completely filled up my dew vial by trampling lots of grass, then I killed Goo on D-5. In the entrance room of D-5, I found a pile of skeletal remains with 1077 gold. The sad ghost also gave me a suit of +2 mail armour (fetid rat quest on D-2, I think), which I later inscribed with the multiplicity glyph (with an arcane stylus, no enchantment scrolls here!), and a +2 Ring of Satiety (topaz) from a golden chest on D-4.
Then in the D-6 shop, I bought a seed pouch, 3 healing potions (there was also one left from the Goo fight), an ankh and a quarterstaff. For reference, I play the vanilla PC version.
This is my first post here and in any of the Fandom wikis actually, so comment down below what think of this post. (If you want, of course!)
So, I'm a big Pixel Dungeon fan, and recently I decided to try out Shattered Pixel Dungeon. By recently I mean I've had it for about a month. I was thinking about changing some textures for fun, and since I don't have SPD on my computer, I can't go into the files (to my knowledge). Does anybody have a texture sheet that I can download and have fun with? Thanks!
I attempted to open a crystal chest and it turned out to be a mimic! Instead of fighting, it decided to run away. I lost track of it because i was using my magic missiles instead of hitting it and couldn't find it anywhere in the level after that. The attempt didn't use up the crystal key. Has anyone else experienced this? And did i miss out on good loot?

Hi,
When Android gestures are enabled, if i drag to move the Map from right (near the border) to left, Android intercept the drag and do a "Go back" gesture. The game is stuck in zooming mode.

I've been playing pixel dungeon for about a week. I know, it's nothing compared to some of the veterans here. Don't judge.
Anyway, I already like PD quite a bit, and I think it's a really cool game. However, I have one problem.
I can't even make it past depth 3!
I've been thinking about my strategy and what I do. Every time I enter, I always completely search the entire depth and take any loot I can. The only rooms I usually ignore are the piranha rooms (cuz they are wayyyy dangerous and I've died to them 3 times already) and the barricaded rooms because last time I tried to open the door by throwing all of my potions (which were unidentified) at it, and I ended up losing half of my health to poison gas, wasting all my potions, and not burning the barricade down.
Every time I die, it seems like some stupid fluke. I've died by opening graves and getting trapped by the wraiths that spawn, opening a room, taking one step, and then activating a summon trap and being pummeled by the sewer crabs summoned, three sewer crabs by chance spawning in front of me on depth 2, being surrounded by knolls scouts, accidentally drinking a poison gas potion, drinking all my potions in a last-ditch effort to not die and ending up dying paralyzed, on fire, and poisoned, etc., etc....
I'm not sure what to do anymore. Whenever I feel like I'm geared up and ready for anything, I get killed by a trio of sewer crabs or something. Please help!

I was on level 16 and zapped a key with my wand of Reach. Then I got a message saying "Error - Something went wrong", and now I can't load the game. Have tried shutting the app down (Android phone) & restarting my phone, neither works. I was doing really well & had just got the ring of thorns. Gutted, I thought this was a great chance to beat my best - level 19.... Any way to get it back or should I just give it up?

I have played this game for more than a year, and just today, I won! The elation. The pride. This game was nothing to me before I found this wiki about 6 months ago, and even then I still struggled hard. Just wanted to tell someone! Have a lovely day!

I would like to propose a whole new game or set of maps along the story of what led to the dungeon world of Shattered Pixel and its variants. It's kind of part 2, but in the form of a prequel. Shattered pixel refers to many previous events that led to Yog Dzewa and other malicious creatures being cast down below the surface. In this prequel, we play out those past events. Rather than descending, you must ascend, or even go sideways, but the climax is a huge battle in the open air, and if successful, it ends with the demons being cast down to the depths and sealed in a dungeon.
This prequel would include
- A new class of fired weapons and more dwarven militaristic robot ideas. It would show the dwarves at the height of their splendour. Dwarven constructions are always a bit mechanical or steampunk rather than super sleek.
- Tengu would be an ally who is then warped by Yog Dzewa. Also like in some SP variants he has many followers. In order to pass an initial level, you need to befriend Tengu's army (by running an errand for example) and this will allow you to use tengu's army against the Dwarves. The game mechanics would be more about allys and parties than a single adventurer.
- The prison is not driven mad by miasma from below but is already there and functional. You get imprisoned there, and must escape.
- Tengu, under demonic control, switches sides.
- Turrets would be positionable shooting devices created by dwarves, which can be placed in different places to shoot enemies.
- Rather than just human classes, you can also play as a demon, a troll, or a dwarf.
- The ghost of course, is still alive, and you may be this character's sweetheart, who leaves her a magical rose when she dies.
- Some interesting levels and ideas from some of the mods can also be added as levels.
The main changes with respect to the current variants of Shattered Pixel would be the multiplayer aspects. The final battle would include many different characters, good and bad, all locked in combat. If it can also include actual live multiplayer action, the more the merrier! Rather than passing from one dungeon to another vertically, it would show many different paths all of which have different types of danger or opportunity. There would also be more character interaction, so you'd need to chat more to NPCs and possibly communicate responses in your dialogue, which determine different paths for the game. Perhaps a bit like in "the magnificent 7" and similar films, you slowly meet and befriend different allies who help you traverse the later maps, which would be impossible to complete if unaccompanied.

...przechodzic do nastepnego poziomu od razu, jak sie znajdzie przejscie, czy lepiej przejsc wszystkie komnaty i zebrac fanty?

I found a ring of haggler on depth 4 (1 in 50,000 chance)!
Has anyone done this before?

(I haven't been active on here for a very long time, so I'm not sure how many people will see this, but oh well...)
Whilst obviously the sewers have the weakest enemies by far, the player is also much weaker, so this is more about difficulty relative to the strength of the player.
Obviously the Demon Halls is very challenging, but I always seem to find that the Dwarven City is a big step up in difficulty compared to the Caves; once I get past Tengu I've generally got good enough equipment to make it through the Caves stage, but if I haven't got good equipment I seem to die very quickly in the Dwarven City.
Relative to the player's strength, the Prison isn't too difficult...
What are your thoughts?

Is there any penalty in speed or hunger rate for carrying too many items? Thanks

I don't know it is kinda sad that Watabou doesn't work on the game anymore. I have around 100 Wins on Original PD and I still play it from time to time but it would be great to see some upgrades and new ideas every now and then.
I tried some of the Community PDs (shattered and so on) but they just don't have the same vibe then the original. feelsbadman.

Started a game with a Warden Huntress. I found 4 healing potions on depth 1, a Swarm of Flies spawned on depth 3 and gave me 2 healing potions, and I found another one in a chest. 7 healing potions in 3 floors, anyone ever got that many?

Hi! I'd like To report a bug with the doors. Since two days I found in almost all games I had locked doors, without a key in the whole level (checked every room with the magic mappong scroll). Does it happen only to me? And why now? Was it a bug from the last update or a new $#*&%@ game mechanic?
Thanks

Hey everyone,
I'm a big fan of this game. I mostly play a MAGE on shattered PD. I don't know how many games I've played so far because I had to reinstall a few times but my guess would be around 5000. I learned that I often play too quickly or casually to win the game. So I came up with an idea to invite myself and other fans to a "best out of 50 games played" challenge.
I know different PD versions differ in difficulty and a few other things, so if you're up for the challenge don't forget to tell us which version of PD you are playing and which character you've chosen to play with.
What you'd need to do is reinstall your PD, play 50 games with your favourite character and let us know what your win ratio was by either writing it or by posting a print screen of your rankings page.
Good luck and lots of patience!

Apparently the Rat King room spawns <100% of the time after defeating Goo. I just wasted a Magic Mapping scroll to verify, but, no Rat King.
